There have been many successful imitations of wood but Provenza‘s W-Age was the first tile I had seen (Cersaie 2010) to offer a cross-section of the trunk to display the very heart of the tree. The design captures the concentric rings left by past years of growth.
W-Age is available in four colours (marrow, heart-wood, ring and cortex) and three sizes (150 by 900, 150 by 600 and 600 by 600mm).
“Venture into the allegorical forest and find yourself, certain of never getting lost again,” proclaimed Provenza’s publicity material for the new range.
