If there was one over-arching design trend at Revestir 2017 it was the preponderance of 3D tiles. These strong elements took many forms and came in a wide variety of materials. There were 3D ceramic tiles, of course, but also many exquisite 3D stone pieces and stone mosaics; as well as strong 3D forms in plastic, cement, wood, composites and combinations of different materials.
One of the leading exponents of these 3D forms in Brazil is Manufatti.
It offered a wide range of striking Cobogós in both square and hexagonal formats; including the Georgette, Tasmania, Tartan, Tweed and Arabesco designs within the paired-back plain terracotta forms that make up the Argilla collection.
There were also brightly-coloured glazed Cobogós, striking 3D wall panels, living wall concepts and much more.
Who said ceramic tiles had to be boring or flat!
