Coverings will witness the North American launch of a Blustyle, a new Panariagroup brand offering a robust range of contemporary Italian ceramics for both commercial and residential applications. Products on display will include highlights from 12 new Blustyle collections that are in step with trends such as rustic and refined wood looks, concrete finishes, oversized stones and distinctive marbles.
According to Panaria’s CEO, Paolo Mussini: “Blustyle is a brand that leverages the experience and qualities of sister company, Cotto D’Este, and the whole Panariagroup. The brand offers Made-in-Italy porcelain solutions at traditional thicknesses, taking advantage of the latest technology, the best raw materials, distinctive aesthetics and the production team’s deep respect for the environment.”
To support the new brand, Blustyle has created a range of tools and materials to help with the specification and installation process, including a dedicated website and new brochure.
Some may find it strange that one of the 12 new collections is Toscana; a rich traditional cotto look available in two colours (Camaldoli and Capalbio) in 300 by 300 and 150 by 300mm, 9mm thick, with a natural finish. However, traditional terracotta looks are being seen more and more at global tile shows, as provenance and authenticity becomes even stronger motivational drivers for tile purchases.
