Attendees at Coverings 2017 experienced the North American launch of a Blustyle; the new Panariagroup brand.
Blustyle showed a robust offering of contemporary Italian ceramics for commercial and residential settings in different finishes, colours and formats. The state-of-the-art products on display included highlights from the 12 new Blustyle collections that are in step with the trends such as rustic and refined wood looks, concrete finishes, oversized stone looks and distinctive marbles in a range of thicknesses from 9 and 11mm up to 20mm.

The ranges in the Blustyle catalogue include:
Arborea: A versatile range of elegant wood-looks in five colors (Aura, Cloe, Danae, Vesta, Talia) and unique layouts such as chevron and parquet. Available in two sizes: 200 by 1,200mm and 100 by 600mm.
Barrique: Warm wood-look planks in four colors (Loire Cru, Rhone Cru, Alsace Cuvée, Provence Cuvée) in 200 by 900mm.
Bourgogne: A soft palette of traditional ceramic looks in three colours (Clair, Doré, Gris) in 600 by 600mm and 300 by 600mm. It is available with rectified edges and two surface finishes.
Château Royal: A classic stone-look tile available in two colours (Amboise and Fontainebleau) with a multi-formatted layout including four sizes (600 by 600, 400 by 600, 400 by 400 and 200 by 400mm in a 10mm thickness. It is intended for indoor or outdoor use in natural and honed finishes with rectified edges.
Concrete Jungle: A versatile cement look that creates an industrial yet modern vibe to any space. Available in four colours (Atelier-25, Factory-56, Store-18, Pub-49) in 900 by 900 by 11mm, plus 600 by 600 and 300 by 600 by 10mm formats, and both natural and honed finishes.
Country: A rustic take on the wood look available in three classic, multi-colored hues (Aspen, Creek, Vermont) in 200 by 1,200 by 10.5mm planks and a natural finish.
Geotech: This collection has the classic look of natural limestone and comes in three colors (Ivory, Grey, Dark) and two sizes (600 by 600 and 300 by 600mm, both 10mm thick) with rectified edges and honed finish.
Toscana: A rich traditional cotto look available in two colours (Camaldoli, Capalbio) in 300 by 300mm and 150 by 300mm, both 9mm thick, with a natural finish.
Blustyle’s stated intention is to offer the renowned quality of Cotto d’Este, in standard thicknesses. The range is predicated on attention to detail, high quality raw materials and a distinctive aesthetic appeal. This sounds like a winning formula and, on the evidence seen at Coverings, the brand is more than living up to its stated objectives.
