Fluorite Fashion

As trade shows in 2016 and 2017 have clearly shown, terrazzo is back in fashion.  Little wonder, then that Inalco has taken the opportunities presented by Cevisama and Coverings to present Fluorite, a new porcelain tile collection inspired by the terrazzo floors of yesteryear, but one with an innovative revamped air.

The Fluorite collection was developed in collaboration with Katty Schiebeck. This talented young designer took the mineral fluorite as her source of inspiration, coming up with a collection offering neutral tones – plus white, black, blue and green – that infuses indoors with a sense of harmony and balance.

All-in-all Fluorite is one of the most impressive additions to the uber-fashionable terrazzo aesthetic: one of today’s must-have interior looks.  The success of the range lies in the way Schiebeck and Inalco have revamped a familiar design using mineral shades of the season, such as mauve and green, together with other timeless and neutral tones, such as blanco, piedra and crema.
