This collection of stunning photographs show the results of the collaboration between Reviglass and Escola Massana, Barcelona. The Spanish glass tile manufacturer provided recycled glass mosaic material for the college’s students/artists, so that they could create these striking murals in 25 by 25mm glass mosaic tiles.
Reviglass has been producing recycled glass mosaic in its factory in Bidania, Guipuzcoa, Spain, since 1985. Reviglass take great pride in obtaing such a unique product from 100% recycled glass.
Through the use of advanced technology, Reviglass has developed an efficient and environmentally-committed resource exploitation process in order to minimize the environmental impact of its production.

Escola Massana is Barcelonaβs municipal Art and Design centre. The defining feature Escola Massana and its teaching philosophy is its inter-disciplinary character. The college aims to generate a symbiosis between the disciplines of art and design.
It is located in the former Hospital de la Santa Creu, close to La Sagrada Familia. The legacy of Barcelona baker and philanthropist AgustΓ Massana, the school opened in January 1929. The educational programme spans visual arts, applied arts and design. Students are offered three educational levels: Basic Education (Artistic Baccalaureate), Further Education (Advanced vocational training programmes and a university degree in Art and Design) and Continuous Training with both beginners and specialist courses.
Higher Diploma in Visual Arts and Design for Mural Arts, of which this project formed a part, offers modules in the History of Mural Art; a Ceramic Tiling, Stucco and Sgraffito Workshop; and a Glass Making Workshop.
