Cerasarda will be exhibiting in New York from 21st to 24th May at ICFF, the contemporary design trade fair held at the Javits Center. Cerasarda will showcase its new Abitare la Terra project, created by designer and ceramist Maria Luisa Brighenti and inspired by the colours of the rich, fertile land of Sardinia.
Also on display will be the Talk range of tables and a selection of designs from the Cerasarda Lab catalogue.
Abitare la Terra is intended to propel Cerasarda onto the contemporary stage. The collection is characterised by material quality, and combines the skills of craftsmanship with cutting-edge technologies. Aesthetically, a wide selection of harmonic colour shades is enhanced by Accento – a range of contrasting colours – and by high-end decorative textures.
Abitare la Terra ceramic panels are also the visual focus of Talk range of tables; the latest addition to the Cerasarda Atelier catalogue dedicated to design objects. This is a new departure for Cerasarda as it continues to weave together craft tradition and contemporary.
Cerasarda Atelier has also launched the Lighthouse Interior competition for designers all over the world. Entrants are being asked to define a new collection of furnishing accessories and ceramic installations inspired by lighthouses and coastal towers. The idea behind the initiative is to create products for high-end seaside hotels and guest accommodation. Visit CFD for competitions.
The products on display at ICFF will also include the Sardinia, Pitrizza and Marezzati collections from the Cerasarda Lab catalogue, that come in a wide variety of sizes, colours and decorations.
