As befits a project in Chelsea – one of the most chic districts of the UK’s capital and a favourite location for intellectual and bohemian Londoners from musicians of the sixties to modern-day artists – this private house has sought the ceramic wow factor in it interior design.

Ceramiche Caesar has brought lashings of Italian Style with high spec porcelain stoneware floor and wall tiles. In particular, the Anima range was chosen to give character to the house’s kitchen and bathrooms; a classic look with surprising charm.

Two tones were chosen for the indoor environments: Grey St. Laurent and Statuario Venato.  The first is an intense grey characterised by a dense network of white veins, which has been chosen, in the 300 by 600mm size, for the horizontal and vertical walls of the first bathroom.  The result is a finish that faithfully reproduces all the details and peculiarities of marble, the noble material par excellence.

The bright white of Statuario Venato, with its dynamic grey veins, was chosen to bring light and originality to the second bathroom and the kitchen.
