Gaia Glamour

In Greek mythology, the goddess Gaia personified the Earth.  Now her name has been given to a new range from Kerateam.  The tile manufacturer from Leisnig, Saxony, has chosen earthy grey and beige tones similar to those found in nature; for instance in Jurassic marble.  The strongly accentuated colour gradations recall the textures of minerals, stones and soil.

Gaia is available in a 300 by 600mm format with rectified edges in Jurassic Grey matt and Jurassic Beige matt, complemented by contrasting tiles in Jurassic Grey matt textured and Jurassic Beige matt textured.

The new collection is completed by a vibrantly patterned tile with a premium feel: a mesh-glued mosaic in a 300 by 300mm format.  The decorative mosaic tiles have a subtle 3D wavy surface and a very tactile texture.  They can be interwoven with the Gaia base tiles to extend the design possibilities.

Kerateam started production in 1997. Over the years our range has diversified and modernised. Our formats have changed, so that today the factory specialises in the popular 200 by 500mm and 300 by 600mm formats.

In recent years, Kerateam has become one of the largest production sites in Germany and has a clear agenda: investment in the economy, commitment to the region, and responsibility for the environment thereby fulfiling the company’s moral obligation to future generations by operating sustainably.  Gaia indeed!
