The fruitful partnership between Iris Ceramica and Diesel Living will be on show once again at Milan Design Week 2018, with five new collections that offer original ideas for high-end hospitality and contract projects.

After investigating and interpreting metropolitan style and the arid desert landscapes of Arizona, these creative partners have continued their travels, heading south in search of new inspiration. This time the location is Mexico; a land in which vibrant styles come together to offer a landscape of fascinating contrasts and new perspectives.

This year Diesel Living and Iris Ceramica have explored that world suspended between past and present; a land of strong colours and bold personality.  The result is Glass Blocks, Synthetic Tape, Synthetic Studs, Metal Perf and Cement Mexican.

Here diverse materials, such as glass, cement and metal, provide the sources of inspiration.  They have been interacted and blended to deliver a new vision of urban living.  These five product lines celebrate the technical potential of ceramics, with Iris Ceramica’s R&D department faithfully interpreting the creative input of Diesel’s design team.

The new collection is completed with an addition to the best-selling Grunge Concrete range.  Launched in 2017, this range has been expanded with the introduction of large sizes, permitting it to be used to create items of furniture, in addition to traditional floor and wall applications.  The effect of scratched cement finds its utmost expression in the 3,000 by 1,500mm format.

The 2018 Diesel Living / Iris Ceramica range will be on view at the Out of This World Hotel stand in Hall 16 – A35/B2.  Visitors to Fuorisalone will also be offered an immersive experience at Diesel Living’s Pop Up Home at Via Cesare Correnti.  This space will be open from 10 a.m to 7.30 p.m every day.
