Inspired by the release of one of the newest additions to Wallsauce.com‘s endless wall decor options – Andrea Hasse and her Jungle murals – Tile Addict has been scouring the ceramic world for similar jungle inspiration. As stylised jungle patterns have been a must-have for interiors and design for a while- large Monstera, Arelia and palm leaves featuring heavily with a range of vibrant summery hues, taking a look at the tile world’s interpretation of the movement should result in some variety.

From the Ornamenta Operae collection comes Domestic Jungle, a relatively simple take on the tropical. Four shades; Aquifer, Inked, Blush, and Earth act as neutral backdrops to the leafy prints. The dominant green and turquoise 1950s style palm fronds provide a tropical atmosphere, designed to be anti-stress. The large format (1200 by 2400mm) slabs enable vast areas of interiors to be decorated.

ABK’s Wide&Style ceramic wallpaper collections have many different interpretations of tropical scenery. Jungle’s large abstract leaf patterns on textured surfaces offer an unusual portrayal of the often lively scenes. The three options- rust, green, and blue give touches of colour and the large scale images are almost Jurassic.

Artistic water colour patterns in various styles feature heavily in the Wide&Style designs. Forest focuses on foliage in varying shades of green, with rounded cartoonish images. Margherita Leonardi adds three designs to this collection. Tropical and Tropical Flamingo receive a pop of colour from the pink birds, and the greens and blues flow from one another, bold but delicate. Palms is equally simple, with a water colour style open palm motif available in four colours; blue, brown, gold, and green.

Tropicana and Rain Forest are the most traditional tropical scenes, with vibrant hibiscus flowers and colourful birds places against dark backgrounds, helping the joyful patterns pop.

A moody tropical vibe can be found with the two decorative compositions from the Natural range of Roberto Cavalli Home Luxury Tiles. In the colours White, Black, and Ivory the two tropical prints neutralise the bold colours often found in jungle patterns, but retain the atmosphere with the iconic leaves and palms.

Statement art tiles from Fondovalle complete the list with Dream Jungle. With textural inspiration from linen, a delicate imagining of a jungle is created, featuring soft and earthy colours. Available in three large formats (1200 by 2400mm, 1200 by 1200mm, and 600 by 1200mm) these tiles can be used to make a dreamy statement that welcome nature inside.
