Dust London

It’s tea waste that inspires Michael McManus and Matthew Grant who founded Dust London in 2016. The duo put to use their backgrounds in art and architecture into crafting unique angular homeware out of waste.

The tea waste is put to use depending on its type, with each variety dried and blended, ready to mix with a non-toxic binder. Not only are the teas used to produce stunning homeware, they also help produce a variety of natural pigments.

Their desire is to not only create, but to raise awareness of sustainable design through their experimentation with natural and organic materials. With their range of four tea variations, and especially with their creation of tea vases, they hope to inspire the conversation further.

Planters, vases, and coasters can be found on their online shop. They also offer a bespoke service, including the production of table tops, work surfaces and wall displays as well as exterior pieces.
