Every now and then a stand really stops you in your tracks at Cersaie. Mainly it will be a familiar brand, but one rare occasions you encounter a previously unknown brand and a display full of creativity and delight.

In 2022, Tile Addict discovered some jaw-dropping architectural finishes and textures on the Gypsum stand. Based in Bergamo, Italy, Gypsum produces plaster, laminated polystyrene, and high performance concrete products.Β

The Pigmenti architectural range comes in 12 quite wonderful shades, and various formats: 1,000 by 1,000 by 18mm, as well as 15mm thick pieces in 500 by 500, 198 by 198, 165 by 500, 80 by 500, and 35 by 500mm.

Gypsum also produces Standard tiles in 100 by 100mm, 200 by 200mm, 230 by 200mm hexagons, 300 by 300mm, and 1,000 by 500mm.  3D forms, notably Minimum (frame effect) and Cameo (recessed ovoid inlaid in a 80 by 160mm rectangular tile) made this one of the most distinctive and original displays at Cersaie.
