Established in 2010 by artist and designer Magda Jurek, the pieces of Pani Jurek transcend trends. Each light, vase, or mirror is an artwork created to be loved and enjoyed for decades, forming a language throughout the home that is highly personal.

Much of the Pani Jurek designs are made of ceramic, such as the curvaceous Barva vases, or the TRN collection that pay homage to the work of Jan Tarasin, but it’s the tile compositions of the Pola collection that really caught our eye.

Taking cues from the Op art of the 60s, abstract expressionism, Bauhaus, and other modernist art movements, Pola’s curves, angles, texture, and colour create striking scenes with many moods.

Mixing glaze effects, varying tone, capturing light, and playing with shadow and gradient, these hand-glazed creations are vivid and fantastical, sparking instant joy and capturing the imagination.
