Five De Stijl Style Tiles

Today our tile theme is super niche. After searching through years of content and trawling countless company portfolios, we’ve finally collected enough tiles for a De Stijl compilation.

1) Coonley Playhouse

Inspired by the architectural details in the Avery Coonley Playhouse designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, these unique art tiles by Motawi Tileworks feature a perfect snapshot of De Stijl style.

2) Kente

This playful mosaic designed by Erin Adams for New Ravenna embraces the geometric spirit of De Stijl whilst packing a punch with a field of green. Mini tiles in blue, white, red, black, green, and neon orange form a spirited pattern, perfect for art lovers.

3) Synapses

Customisable to whatever colours you desire, Synapses from Hydrotuiles offer a DIY Mondrian-esque cement decor for playful detailing with a Modern flair.

4) Llama Mondrian

An unusual twist on De Stijl’s blocky aesthetic, Llama Mondrian from Merola Tile choose wood-effects over colour. Shades of grey and cream pair with three takes on tan for an unique take on inlaid wood.

5) Jetty

Vibrant, unusual colour combinations make up this contemporary take on De Stijl design – Livden’s Jetty collection. Rich mustards, playful plum, and tangerine mix amongst stripes for an effect both dramatic and elegant.
