A Pyramid of Tiles

Anything can be a tile! That’s definitely our attitude, but it’s also the attitude of Austrian creative Christina Chalupsky. From a master’s degree at the Vienna University of Technology to artistic inspiration in Frankfurt, the imaginative work of Chalupsky’s A Pyramid of Tiles blends craftsmanship, intuition, and playfulness.

Made for mixing and matching, the three dimensional hand-painted shapes and patterns on each tile are unique, each forming striking, personal compositions for every installation.

Delicate lilac, rich mustard, vibrant red, and forest greens pair together in designer beauty. Dramatic blacks and sunny yellows, toasted caramel and aqua form other unlikely layouts.

Every tile is made from ceramic and measures approximately 100 by 100mm. They can be purchased with a wooden backing for use individually as coasters, or without the backing for the creation of large scale artworks or permanent interior features.
