One of our interior design favourites (Masquespacio) has yet again made a big show of tile in their continued collaboration with Italian burger chain, Bun. In their decoration of Bun’s Milan store, a colourful combination of green and purple saw square tiles, bare brick, and captivating curves form a distinct restaurant personality.

Set in Turin, this most recent restaurant revitalisation utilises the brand’s exisiting colour scheme – pink, blue, and green – to bring the company identity to life.

With vast swathes of tile breaking up the space in each distinct colour, and the occasional ladder, sign, and circular light, the vibe is very much ‘swimming pool’. Three large windows give pre-existing division to the room, emphasised by pink snugs, blue booths, and a green order space.

The bold use of block-colour tiling is fabulously effective whilst a sprinkling of terrazzo adds a touch of texture. Relaxed and stylish, Bun has been given the best of Masquespacio’s mastery of design.
