Using tiles as her canvas, Anastasia Ropalo adds brilliantly detailed florals and geometrics to ceramic and wood, forming unique surfaces for highly decorative furnishings.

Each stem, bud, petal, curve, and diamond is lined with tiny dots to create an elegant sense of movement and subtle texture. Both flowy, continuous William Morris-esque designs and playful patchworks form Ropalo’s extensive portfolio.

These hand painted tiles are then used to surround mirrors and form unique artworks, each more wonderful than the next. Sharing the delight of these intricate creations, Ropalo shares her skills with a ceramic/wood tile painting course.
