Today’s tile company is a one woman show. Ran by a single employee for 20 years, Emu Tile‘s large collection is fully imagined, shaped, and glazed by founder Emily Margaret Ulm.
Featuring adorable florals, classic motifs, bugs, wildlife, and plants, Emu Tile’s many designs are made to function as stand alone mini artworks or freckled into a large scale installation.
With sizes ranging from tiny 1″ by 1″ to a simple 6″ by 6″ you can add an accent wherever you fancy and with 3D turtles, sunflowers, mice, fish, bears, moons, and even a praying mantis there’s a detail for every space.
Every tile is available in ten different glazes ranging from mossy green, soft lilac, and honey to aqua, caramel, and grey.
