Our last week of companies and creatives begins with The Happy Collectiv (THC), a place designed by founder Satya Shekar to be a joyful, intentional, grounded studio where objects that ooze happiness can be collected and created.

Cast forms, paper mache, and ceramics make up THC’s artistic offerings, made slowly and lovingly for homely details filled with soul.

Varying in style and subject, her hand-painted tiles are mini artworks inspired by classic Mediterranean motifs, minimalist art, and contemporary tastes. Tasteful nudes in rich cobalt blue make up ‘Indigo Muse’, vibrant stylised flowers form ‘Garden Party’, and beachy scenes create ‘Hot Girl Summer’.

A quirky, modern reimagining of Kings and Queens culminates in the cheeky ‘Royal Flush’, whilst elegant botanical motifs add a traditional look with ‘Blue Meadow’. Each set is wonderfully unique, infused with fun and beauty for practical pieces that sing and delight.
