It’s our last post of the year so we’re leaving 2025 with a bag of curiosities for your viewing pleasure. Feast your eyes on flowers, matryoshka, and Daliesque scenes, and have a lovely winter holiday!
1) Ditorni Isola
Designed by Inga Sempé for Mutina, plain colours, patterns, and scenes make up Ditorni (surroundings). Geometric motifs and solid shades form distinctive details and intriguing space, but the collection’s most unique character comes from Isola. This series of ten curious images transport you to a dreamlike world – an escape and a wonder – where reality meets the strange.
2) Geometry Seritina
These porcelain tiles from Artisan Tile Company pair the charm of handmade cement tiles with modern pattern play and colour. A simple circle is made show stopping with bold stripes and a pink half-moon to create a striking statement that perfectly pairs whimsy with style.
3) Stories
Tagged as a ‘box of wonders’ 41zero42‘s new Stories collection is exactly that – a fabulously varied, joyful selection of decors depicting everything from dancing figures and seaside towns to street lamps and ravens. 4) Flora
A funky flower and leaf combo, Flora from Zia Tile takes advantage of the charm of cement to form a dynamic duo full of fun. In four colour pairs – a bold pink and red combo, a striking black and off white, an intense sage and electric blue, and a chilled out mustard and lemongrass – distinctive personalities are created, ready to fill your home with life and energy.
5) postcards from myself
Revisiting their first wonderful collaboration with Ruan Hoffman over a decade later, Clè Tile‘s postcards from myself feature hand drawn motifs inspired by the artist’s global travels. Playful shapes and bold colours abound in this beautifully dynamic selection of designs that take you on a journey of details all across the world.
