Richard Baylis has been appointed as the new Managing Director of luxury bathroom specialist C.P. Hart, with the appointment taking effect on September 1. He succeeds Dean Weston, who has been promoted by parent company Wolseley Group to lead its Plumb Centre network.

Baylis has more than 20 years’ experience across the home improvement sector, having held senior roles at O2, Wickes, Homebase, and Bathrooms by Design. Most recently, he was country manager at German kitchen fittings manufacturer Vauth-Sagel.

C.P. Hart currently operates 16 showrooms across London, the South East, and Cheshire. The appointment follows a period of investment for the business, including the opening of a showroom in Hatch End, the refurbishment and expansion of its Guildford showroom, and the planned relocation of its Chiswick showroom to larger premises.
