Casa Decor, Spain’s leading interior design event, is taking place in the luxurious Jeronimos neighbourhood in a singular building from the start of the 20th century located in Antonio Maura street, Madrid. The building offers 68 spaces where Spanish interior designers, architects and decorators can show off their skills.
One of them is interior designer Miriam Alia, who has created an elegant and dreamy living room for Westwing: chic, romantic and, yet, still cutting edge.
Located on the second floor of the building, it provides an oasis of colour and freshness, characterised by the use of pastel tones and a mix of textures.
Miriam Alia has utilised the full design potential of Vives’ stunning new Necci Blanco mosaic; a 300 by 300mm trencadis effect. This utterly on-trend tile design has been used to cover the floors, providing a very unusual but effective look.
Necci Blanco’s marble aesthetics, and its intricate pieces, give the space great luminosity. Inspirational!
The Casa Decor exhibition, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, will remain open until Sunday 18th June.
