The exterior of OIIQ in Montréal’s Angus Technopôle features Agrob Buchtal’s ceramic ventilated cladding,. This has a permanent catalyst, integrated to the ceramic’s glaze that is activated when exposed to light, oxygen and humidity. Almaviva is a Paris-based tile atelier that makes Delft tiles, azulejo panels and hand-made glazed tiles. The studio’s specialties also include Italian Renaissance majolica tiles, medieval pavements, Iznik panels and Islamic tiles, including zellige. A Two-Dimensional Mind

The career of tile maker Bronwyn Williams-Ellis began with 3D design, working in ceramics. She completed a BA and an MA at the Cardiff College of Art and had her first workshop in North Wales where she created huge one-off sculptures and garden ware.
