In Casalgrande Padana‘s new Antiquewood range, which will feature centre stage at Cersaie 2017, the detailing, marking and memory of one of nature’s most versatile materials has been merged with the technical characteristics of modern ceramics to produce a winning combination of stunning aesthetics and impeccable performance.
Distinguished by its complex and sophisticated surface, where signs of the passing of time adorn the ceramic surface creating a used effect, Antiquewood is the lastest addition to Casalgrande Padana’s successful Granitoker collection of porcelain stoneware tiles. This new range is about reinvigorating ancient materials and showcasing the power of unpolished, imperfect nature as a key design element in today’s urban style interiors.
Antiquewood has a strong look, featuring sophisticated colour and texture combinations that help create a vintage feel. The choice of formats offers designers great creative freedom, allowing them to deliver floors and walls packed with tonal contrasts and natural looking veining; while light creates reflections that draw attention to the scratches, marks and expression lines on the tile’s surface.
Antiquewood offers geometric designs, contemporary decorations, unusual formats and a colour range with the bold tones of White, Moka and Black. It comes in 150 by 1,200, 200 by 1,200 and 600 by 1,200mm formats, and can also be supplied as boards or chevrons to further broaden the design options.
