One of Marca Corona‘s latest creations, the aptly-named Bold boasts retro colours and effective 3D surfaces. With its 70’s inspired palette of, soft glazes, and linear and circle patterns, Bold offers designers the ultimate cutting-edge look for contemporary residential and commercial projects.

Colour has been much more to the fore in the ceramic tile sector over the past couple of years, and Marca Corona has really taken the colour theme by the horns with this on-trend 400 by 800mm white body wall tile range. Tile Addict particularly likes the four-colour palette with its irresistible retro flavour, which goes well with the two 3D options: an elegant linear pattern and a fresh circle relief.

Adding extra impact is the irresistible matt glaze that bring out the warmth in the white (below left), sage green, marsala red and mustard yellow hues. The glaze has both a velvety touch and an appealing brightness. As a result, the colour options are perfect both for monochrome installations or ultra-modern colour combinations and material crossovers

As has become more and more prevalent, with Bold grout joints are no longer just practical requirements or aesthetic defects, but can become refined elements of the overall design (above right). Beside conventional tone-on-tone grouting, the most daring interior designers can also choose contrasting solutions and colours that offer a greater visual impact.
