The rippling, multitonal interior of agate is the inspiration behind this new collection from GranitiFiandre. Agata Maximum makes use of Fiandre’s Maximum slab technology and incorporates the beauty of this intriguing rock. These large 3,000 by 1,500mm tiles are extraordinarily striking with their collective mass of unique cross-sections.
The collection has a simple range of three colours – Agata Black, Agata Atena, and Agata Blu, each with a unique take on the showcased material. Agata Black features a range of larger scale segments of dark neutral rock, Agata Atena focuses on earthy browns and a few harsher straight lines, and Agata Blu is decorated in curvacous cross-sections in a vibrant blue. Each colour makes use of the soft translucent look of agate and the shapes, colour, and shading give the slabs a dynamic appearance.
It is a visually impressive collection that has a real sense of power and beauty. The impossible surface is fascinating to look at and each colour offers a different personality to create a range of interiors with their own attitude. The porcelain slabs can also be utilised as funiture and other decorative features.
