It has been a long time since we took a look at the otherworldy Gem Glass collection from Sicis, but it is at the forefront of our minds again due to the supernatural presence it brings to this interior.
At an exclusive perfumery in Milan’s via Monte Napolene, the hypnotic slabs create a magical focal point, evoking distant galaxies and mythical landscapes. The Gem Glass Vetrite is backlit, offering even more wonder and an ethereal atmosphere.
Designer of the Zhor perfumery’s interior, Marco Lucchi, has already shown his appreciation for the Vetrite slabs having utilised them for the Sicis Lounge at the Salone del Mobile 2019. A similar impact was achieved with the large slabs mounted onto LED panels to achieve the magnificent glow whilst the Gem Glass Reef slabs offer visual intrigue and light play. The resulting interior is truly spectacular and offers customers a unique moment in an imaginary world.
