Wisconsin born Anne Marie Price began life as a mosaic artist in the basement of her home. In between working and raising children she honed her skills with the help of online artists and by 2011 she’d moved to California and began full-time work as an artist.

In September of 2014 she was awarded the 2014 Robin Brett Scholarship from the Society of American Mosaic Artists and a year later started work teaching the art of mosaic.

Her style is diverse, incorporating a range of materials and experiementing with realism, whimsy, and a playful use of colour and pattern. Butterflies, portraits, landscapes, and abstract scenes all have a home in Price’s portfolio with canvases as diverse as rocks and surfboards adding even more variety.
