Much Love Me

A mixture of delft, patchwork, and graffiti make up Much Love Me by South African artist Ruan Hoffmann for Clé Tile.

The collection is a pared back version of his usual work that’s often filled with colour, emotional figures, and multiple layers of abstraction. Though toned down, many of his signatures remain, such as naive florals and a love for swirls and imperfect geometry.

Both in greyscale and blue, ink pools and hand-drawn lines add further charm to the unusual patterns, creating an intimacy between viewer and artist. Ten designs total the collection with each revealing more delightful detail the longer you look.

Each tile measures 12 x 12 inches and is made from honed limestone tiles. A plain field tie is also available for break up the patterns.
