The Branded Tile Company x Harlequin

The newest member of the Branded Tile Company family, born from a collaboration with Sanderson Design Group brand Harlequin, adds four contemporary designs to hang out alongside Branded Tile’s more traditional Burmantofts tile siblings.

Each showcasing a different attitude, Sumi, Enigmatic, Tessellation, and Bodega offer raw design potential straight from the belly of Harlequin’s bold and beautiful portfolio.

With striking angles and captivating geometrics, Sumi shares the artistic character of it’s fabric twin as subtle tonal differences dance across the abstract lines in both its darker Black Earth and Japanese Ink and warmer Grounded and French Ochre colour ways. Four tiles are used to create the infinitely repeating pattern with a top line arranged A, B, C, D and underneath it C, D, A, B. Each tile measures 200 by 200mm.

Tessellation’s take on the Harlequin wallpaper with the same name translates the design onto hexagonal tiles, creating a whole host of unique layout possibilities from directional orientations, sunbursts, and central focus. Go for bold contrast with the deep blue Japanese Ink, or choose something subtle and calming with Ecru and Positano. Each tile measures 250 by 215mm.

With a generalised nod towards the Harlequin fabric and wallpaper, Enigmatic takes cues from the abstractly stained surface to create a patchwork of varying pigment. These expressive markings take on a trio of personalities including the hazy cloud of Seaglass, the royal and earthy French Ochre, and the thoughtful and intriguing Japanese Ink. Each tile measures 250 by 215mm.

Finally, Bodega – the mirror image of Harlequin’s vibrant Bodega fabric – enables a creative liberty to order the mix and match design to your own tastes. In a simplified pair of colour schemes – Temple Grey/Black Earth and Indigo/Amazonia – the unusual shapes of Bodega are free to express themselves. Each tile measures 200 by 200mm.

All tiles from the Harlequin x Branded Tile are made from porcelain for use indoors on both walls and floors.
