Today we’re tagging onto our list of Styles & Aesthetics for 2024, with these four trending looks. Do any of them strike your fancy?
1) Western Gothic
With roots in literature and fashion, the Western Gothic interior aesthetic blends the dark, moody, and macabre with the old school cowboy styles of the American frontier. It’s a countrified, less bookish Dark Academia with cacti replacing ferns and ivy, greys over greens, and leather over velvet.

2) Bold Kitchens
Standing side by side with Dopamine Decor, a bold and colourful kitchen is not only allowed, it’s being actively encouraged. Bright orange, energising turquoise, playful pink, and patterns that incorporate the most intense shades of the rainbow are enjoyed on painted walls, coloured cabinets, and fabulous tiles.

3) Jellyfish
Weird but somehow not surprising, Jellyfish decor is apparently being favoured by Millennials and Gen Z. Embracing the wibbly wobbly aesthetic and otherworldly vibe, Jellyfish style creates decor out of the gloopy creature, selecting pastels shades to match or choosing something neon and electric to symbolise their sting.

4) Cafécore
Calm, collected, and threatening to replace the chic spaces that serve overpriced coffee, Cafécore creates interiors beyond a simple coffee station, designed specifically for relaxing, reading, and sipping on a toasty brew. Clean surfaces mixed with curated eclectic accents and corners or nooks to cosy into.
