Rings of oak

In another collaboration between London-based designer Michael Anastassiades and Mutina, fresh-faced wood gets a revamp with Rings.

Stepping away from ceramic, cement, and porcelain, the Rings collection selects natural oak as its tile medium of choice. Inspired by traditional industrial flooring, the end grain of wood takes centre stage, forming a stylish quadrant on each 175 by 175mm tile.

Natural variety in shade, curvature, and grain thickness provides the organic decorative charm of Plain whilst simple délabré brass inserts create subtle flashes of adornment for Brass.

The random arrangement of each cross-section of wood allows for ease of installation, unhindered by the need to match the orientation of the grain. Rings can be used on both floors and walls, as well as for coverings of furniture and more.
