Beginning our third week of companies and creatives we’ve got Anne Wenkel, a German artist and illustrator who adds colourful charm to ceramics.
Alongside the plates, candle holders, and baubles in her collection sit the truest treasure of all – tiles. Delightfully decorated with abstract shapes, playful patterns, and the occasional cafetiere, Wenkel’s tiles are made to inject whimsy.
With collections both mini (50 by 50mm) and standard (105 by 105mm) and themes such as Bonjour (a French-style array of motifs and images) and Jardin (featuring sunflowers, birds, and apples) you can create your perfect pick and mix patchwork.
