At Cersaie 2026, Ceramiche Refin will showcase an exhibition design by Studio Salaris that explores the relationship between man and matter.  Echoing last year’s stand, references to Carlo Scarpa’s work remain – diagonal walls, cuts and openings creating perspective views, sculptural basins, wooden louvres – but the space feels warmer and more tactile. 

The colour scheme aims to create an intimate and immersive experience that spotlights the value of human touch to reveal the value and essence of a material.  This human gesture becomes the thread linking the narrative of Refin’s new surfaces and the design of the exhibition space that explores the designer’s quest to explore archetypal materials and reinterpret them in a contemporary language.

On the stand, this journey unfolds through a sequence of spaces, each modelled on the material contained within and characterised by its own chromatic and sensory identity. The architectural elements become an essential part of the exhibition, supporting a seamless narrative that invites visitors to engage with the surfaces and gradually discover their depth and character.

This dialogue between matter and gesture, nature and design, perception and transformation, aims to give Refin a platform to reveal its latest research into ceramic surfaces. Clay, concrete, stone, and marble become the starting point for a journey that explores many fresh material nuances.
