In this range, one of a number of new offerings from leading manufacturers that draw on ceramic tiling’s roots, two of the most loved colours – white and blue – and two of the most familiar formats – 100 by 100mm and 200 by 200mm – gain unexpected 3D effects thanks to cutting edge decorating technology.

It is fair to say that the genuineness of the material and the attention to detail helps to transform the surfaces of Maiolica into captivating accents for the most original and trendy environments.

Marca Corona Gallery, the historical archive of the Rubbiani Collection – representing the ancient heritage of the Sassuolo tile district and the genetic legacy of Marca Corona – was the source of inspiration for this small-format collection.  Here tiling tradition is reinterpreted through one of its timeless guises: white and blue majolica.  Extensive graphic research, and an innovative decoration technique, give these floor and wall tiles a thoroughly modern look, suitable for the most sophisticated and on-trend residential and commercial spaces.

Proposed in two classic formats – 100 by 100mm and 200 by 200mm – Maiolica has a lively hand-crafted look and 3D touches.   This range is equally at home in a monochromatic scheme or laid in contrast.  The white and blue backgrounds match a rich selection of decorations, with geometric and floral motifs: besides the six different gloss decors, blue on white background, designed for 100 by 100mm coverings.  The range also offers two patterns in the 200 by 200mm format, extremely elegant in total white, which are also suitable for flooring applications.
