For Saloni, tile making is a traditional legacy, updated and brought forward to the 21st century. The company aims to ensure that it contributes to something unique to every project, thereby helping to personalise living spaces and transform houses into homes. To this end, the company strives to offer innovative products of outstanding quality and design.

At this year’s Cevisama, one of the ranges that typified Saloni’s approach to tile design and manufacture was Street Art. Produced in three formats – 450 by 900mm, 600 by 600mm, and 300 by 600mm – this suite of porcelain floor and wall tiles takes its inspiration from street art graphics that are rich and full of nuances.

Saloni has aimed to create a design balance capable of creating a timeless product, with a neutral and natural chromatic range, teamed with a modern, urban and industrial spirit. In this collection, cement is transformed from a basic construction material into an element of artistic expression, effectively combined with the colour of the art mosaic and decorative reliefs that help to enrich the range’s power of expression.

The evolved surface of the collection is enhanced with a slight stressing or structured finish. Due to its technical/aesthetic characteristics, Street-Art is suitable for many different applications, including public spaces, homes, façades, and outdoor flooring, thanks to its non-slip technology. The possibilities of Street-Art are limited only by the imagination!
