
If there was one thing I particularly enjoyed about Cevisama, it was the sense of fun conveyed by so many of the new wall tile ranges. During the years when modern minimalism held sway, the tile sector just got a bit too grown up and serious for my taste. While there was much to admire in the neutral palettes and emphasis on texture, the current revival of small format tiles, shapes, 3D forms and colour certainly adds a level of exuberance that has been sorely missing of late.
