Inalco´s H2O IPlus Full Digital technology uses water-based inks and glazes for decoration.  This is claimed to enable Inalco to obtain products with the highest definition without generating any polluting emissions, and also to reduce the consumption of water during production by up to 70%, achieving anual savings of water of up to 10 million litres.

H2O IPlus Full Digital processes are thus being billed as a revolution for the ceramic industry, since this innovative water-based  technology allows the creation of collections with an outstanding resolution, that are also sustainable and environmentally friendly.  As Inalco’s own recent production show, these production advances can deliver highly naturalistic surfaces inspired by materials such as stone, marble or wood: ceramic designs full of sensory appeal.
