The 17th Expo Revestir – South America’s largest and most influential exhibition of ceramic tiles, surface solutions, and bathroom design – will take place from12th to 15th March 2019 at Transamérica Expo Center, in Sao Paulo, Brazil. At Expo Revestir, the focus is very much on market trends and the very latest surface solutions from more than 250 national and international brands.
2019 highlights will include Ceusa’s “Every House Is A Case” concept. Ceusa has developed a series of products inspired by the four seasons, bringing together all the sensations of each individual season. Summer is represented by two products: Mosaicos Era and Trama Lisboa, created by architects Juliana Pippi and Osvaldo Tenório. For winter, the focus is on technology, with products featuring cutting edge design, such as Dotz, with beautiful metallic details in high relief created with digital printing, and the geometric Louvre and Logan. For autumn, the highlights are the Queen and Seiva Hybrids. The Spring collection is Invertido. With a satin finish, this product follows the American trend in decoration and creates panels of small tiles, allowing various combinations of black, white, fendi, and green colours.
Natural elements have always inspired Castelatto, and so it comes as no surprise that this renowned brand will launch the Ignis floor tile line inspired by magma or igneous rocks. This range has a striking texture and a surface with a rustic appearance and a soft touch. The collection is available in different formats (from 500 by 500mm to 1,000 by 1,000mm) and in the black Nero colour for both internal and external applications.
Another company offering über fashionable metallics is Dune with a corten steel collection that can be mixed with other ranges to create exclusive designs making the most of a 600 by 1,200mm XXL format. The range is also available in traditional small 200 by 200mm formats with smooth and textured finishes. Dune’s ranges of floor and wall tiles that reproduce different stones and marbles are also noteworthy; as are their on trend small format tiles, with textured or smooth finishes in a wide palette of colours.
Diamond Stone will present Ultracompact; a highly resistant range that is scratch and stain resistant and can be applied to both internal and external areas. This collection is also anti graffiti, resists thermal shock, and comes in three thicknesses: 3mm, 6mm, and 12mm, the latter being ideal for kitchen countertops. New colours, such as Ultracompact Solid Fluid, Fokos Collection, and Invisible White will be presented.
Galleria della Pietra will showcase technology and Italian aesthetic appeal in a single material that reveals the delicacy and sophistication of Ariostea’s stunning Ultra Marmi collection. These large panels, with a highly realistic natural stones effect, recreate the pure and refined character of nature’s noblest stones. With a minimum thickness of 6mm, the Ultra Marmi line features four new designs: Sahara Noir, Fior di Bosco, Calacatta Macchia Vecchia, and Azul Macaúbas.
Finally, the Grupo Rocha will present five designs in 600 by 600mm rectified porcelain: Coliseu, inspired by modern geometry with a grain texture for external areas; Orion, a noble marble in the European trend; Balsamo, a noble wood with a soft texture; Venus model, a granolithic range for external areas; and Solo, a marble-effect enriched with coloured details.
