Although we should be tiring of terrazzo, it’s hard to obey trend laws when there are such curious collections to cover. And one such collection is Schegge from Ceramica Fioranese.

Eight tiles (four simple colours, and four terrazzo style decors) make up this delightful range. Three lovely neutrals (Calce, Cenere, and Grafite) and one stunningly rich red (Porpora) offer varying levels of drama with rough, textures surfaces catching the light and sparking the imagination. This effect is achieved with “Matter on Top” technology.

The terrazzo-effect decors keep it simple, with a selection of chip sizes in marble-effect whites and greys. Plain tiles are offered in four sizes (600 by 1,200mm, 900 by 900mm, 600 by 600mm, and 300 by 600mm) and the terrazzo decors are available in 900 by 900mm and 600 by 600mm.

Two mosaic styles round off the collection with Mosaico offering a clean, elegant design and Palladiana emphasising the terrazzo chips in a pattern of random-look shards. Each come on a 300 by 300mm sheet.
