Today’s artist is one of the few we discovered trawling through the artists on Cameron Trading Post. Hailing from Oklahoma, Cherokee tribe member Jeanne Rorex Bridges represents her roots in a style honed over 35 years.

As an artist she travelled and sold paintings, gaining a national reputation for her striking use of colour and unique style. Taking to ceramic tile, Jeanne and her husband James transformed her beautiful works into functional art, enhancing her reputation further and offering an affordable alternative to paintings.

At Rorex Bridges Studio, a small, family run set-up, Jeanne and her husband personally press, paint, and pack each order ensuring that every piece is as it should be. The iconic subjects of Jeanne’s work are ‘Women of the Past’ with designs representing stories and journeys with simplicity and style.

Rorex Bridges Studio offers these tiles in a variety of formats including classic squares, coasters, and triptychs.
