Based in West Cornwall and with a penchant for finesse and detail, Stratum Designss is taking woodworking to another level. Although not strictly tile, their flooring designs and wall art definitely fit a lot of the tiling ethos adequately enough to be considered a member of the Tile Addict family.

Founded in 2022 by friends Dan and Ravi, Stratum Designs was born through a mutual love of the outdoors and two distinct yet complementary skillsets – from Dan as an expedition leader and carpenter, and from Ravi as an arts educator and designer.

Mixing natural woods with resin and reclaimed flecks of acrylic, Stratum Designs’ pieces insert joy and artistic flourishes to each work of art, furniture, and modern marquetry.

Flashes of colour, repeat patterns, or ribbons of pigment-speckled wood decorate various designs with abstract artworks, intriguingly composed coffee tables, and playful flooring all found amongst their collections.
