Kaolin x Greg Natale

Startled to discover it has been five whole years since we shared The Composite Collection, it seems high time to check out whether Australian designer Greg Natale has been creating any more tiling delights for us to sink our teeth into. And thankfully he hasn’t disappointed.

This time collaborating with Kaolin, Natale has produced the Dimora Collection, a set of three tile series – The Villa Collection, The Grotta Collection, and The Casa Collection – each separated by aesthetics and styles.

The Villa Collection leans into Natale’s signature style, mixing unique porcelain marble effects with inlaid geometric details in black and brass. The result is energetic luxury – a finish that is both dramatic and designer.

The Grotta Collection is entirely different. Paying homage to both 70s Brutalism and the ancient allure of caves, the four Grotta designs vary from abstracted geometrics to stylised faces and vegetation.

Rounding up the Dimora Collection, The Casa Collection features a pair of geometric patterns that are both calmingly neutral and distractedly decorative. The varying tones and large scale motifs have a home both in Maximalism and Eclecticism, serving to pack a punch or add low level interest depending on the interior.

All tiles in the Dimora Collection are astoundingly large, ranging from 750 by 1500mm in The Casa Collection 900 by 1800mm in The Villa Collection, and 900 by 2700mm in The Grotta Collection.
