Sealife tiles got a post of their own, as did those that took us underwater, but we kept back these fishy fancies so they could all hang out here together.
1) Poisson
Made up of seven colour-coded fish triptychs, Ceramiche Arcea‘s Poisson plays with pattern and tone for a marvellous mix and match shaol that varies the decor from heady to body to tail.

2) John Dory and Picasso Fish
Fun, colourful, and unique to Skye Tiles, these handpainted art tiles showcase the work of Bonnie Friend and Rosie Burns with colourful interpretations of these charismatic fish.

3) Ocean Shaol and Goldfish
Swimming families of fish in tones of blue (Ocean Shaol) and vibrant orange (Goldfish) punctuated with pattern decorate the delightfully fishy tiles of Doodlepippin.

4) Fish
From the fabulous Smoke & Fire Tiles, these unusual, uniquely shaped fish tiles are designed to join together in endless rippling repetition with colours of all kinds and glorious glaze effects offering a statement display like no other.

5) Sardines and Peixos
A pair of fishy tiles from the brilliant Bussoga, Sardines and Peixos (from designers Joseph Motas and Clara Gispert respectively) take differing approaches to patterns that repeat indefinitely. With Motas’ Sardines the graphic black, white, and aqua bodies of the fish are copy and pasted infinitely to create a sea of sardines. For Gispert’s Peixos (fish) a weaving mass of heads and scales create a design that can branch off, bubble up, and coat all sorts of spaces.

6) Art Tiles
For those who aren’t a fan of a classic singing Big Mouth Bill Bass, the artisans at Whistling Frog Tile have some stunning ceramic alternatives. Their art tiles take the shape of many a fish from the familiar bass, the ugly flounder, the delightful butterfly fish, and the common trout, all beautifully glazed in shades of aqua, green, grey, brown, and pink.
