Following the “Only clays, no glaze” philosophy, for the Dune collection Gigacer uses only natural clays to achieve the subtle and natural colours and textured effects.  Gigacer explains this by saying that the manufacturing process guides the deposition and layering of coloured clay, just as the wind does with sand: moving them, blending them, and transforming them into dunes. 

It is little wonder then that Dune evokes the shapes created when wind moves sand, sculpting sinuous forms that recall the landscapes of deserts and beaches. The use of state-of-the-art technology allows for an almost infinite sequence of curves and ridges, making each tile/slab unique.

There is a choice of five natural earthtone colours: Bianca Caraibi, Avorio Zanzibar, Sabbia Sahara, Tangerine Namibia, and Nero Lanzarote.  The formats are 1,200 by 1,200, 600 by 1,200, and 600 by 600mm, plus specials and trims.  Dune is available in 12mm and 20mm thickness in four different surface finishes: Bocciardato, Levigato. Mat, and Soft.
