Solarium‘s Vogú cobogó, designed by architect Arthur Casas, has been awarded the Casa Vogue Design Prize for 2017.
With the growing popularity cobogós in recent years, the Votú (air or wind), launched at Revestir in 2016, allows the passage of air and light, while at the same time restricting the view of what is on the other side. The 330 by 330mm cementitious pieces can be used in both internal and external areas.
In February 2017, Votú also brought Solarium its fourth iF Design Award, following three products created by Renata Rubim: Catavento and Praga in 2012, and the Atoll cobogó in 2014.
For Ana Cristina de Souza Gomes, Solarium’s President, these prizes are due reward for the faith she has placed in a 3D design element that is growing increasingly important in Brazilian architecture.
