Dutch fashion brand Reinders recently opened a new showroom and headquarters in Zandvoort outside Haarlem in the Netherlands, taking to natural stone to illustrate their reputation of distinctive style. Three individual areas were created within the space to showcase their new collections and meet with wholesalers.

They specified SolidNature to create the furniture and fittings that would generate the atmosphere sought, and work alongside the clothing designs to produce a cohesive space that funtions not only as a meeting space, but as a demonstration of the brand’s attitudes and style.

SolidNature was founded in Amsterdam in 2011, a company focused on developing and delivering high-end architecture and interiors that celebrate the beauty of natural stone. The company supplies over 600 types of high-quality marble, travertine, onyx or semi-precious stone for its projects, an awesome trio of which were chosen for the Reinders’ HQ.

The HQ’s long central meeting table was crafted from mitred, polished, black Aurea Flamma marble. The marble’s distinctive gold veins were matched with the table’s gold metal legs. Displaying accessories are matching plinths, and Vienna White marble based clothes rails display the designs. Depsite looking like blocks of stone, the bases are simply thin slabs.

The monochrome marble furnishings establish an interior that is undeniably luxurious, and the muted palette makes for an ideal foundation with which to display the clothing. Aside from the rich and elegant Aurea Flamma marble, two gorgeously coloured onyx slabs fill two other areas of the HQ.

Lightly grey-veined pink onyx Magnolia Breeze creates a delicate calm with matching pink chairs and display plinths. The most incredible blue Huvafen onyx slab provides a vibrant contrast and is the perfect addition to even out the tranquility offered by the pale pink and the intense seriousness of the black and gold. SolidNature’s state-of-the-art water jet cutters also produced the Reinders logo out of offcuts from each of the stones which are displayed in each area of the showroom.
