This year’s Natural Stone Show will take place at ExCeL, London, from 30th April to 2nd May 2019. Alongside an impressive array of exhibitors, and many outstanding products, visitors can benefit from an expertly-curated set of value-adding seminars and talks on many different aspects of the solid surface market.

One key exhibit will showcase the Natural Stone Awards.   Presented by Stone Federation Great Britain every two years, the Awards recognise projects which exhibit exemplary design and execution of stonework. Providing a useful insight into the use of stone today; they will be displayed in a Photographic Gallery in the Natural Stone Show exhibition hall.  Each project showcased in the Gallery will be accompanied by a case study outlining the technical challenges overcome and commentating on the aesthetic results that have been achieved.

Also during the Natural Stone Show, visitors can enjoy a MaterialDistrict feature exploring the theme of Innovation Meets Design. Honing in on ground-breaking hard materials for architecture and design, MaterialDistrict has created a 200 sq. metre curated experience of 136 international surfaces, such as recycled trash terrazzo, translucent materials, others that absorb CO², smart composites, water-absorbing tiles and much more. There are products for exterior and interior use created to satisfy both form and function. They are products that will surprise and arouse all your senses. Come and be inspired.

Els Zijlstra, Founder & Creative Director of MaterialDistrict, will also be delivering a free-to-attend session on Thursday 2nd May that will explore the latest innovations in Hard Surface design.
