Powder Blue Tile

Shelter Island Chic

Lunada Bay Tile and American potter Jonathan Adler have collaborated in a collection inspired by his home in Long Island, New York.

Shelter Island blends the Japanese tradition of hand-crafted ceramics with Adler’s unusual modern finesse to form a sequence of curves and lines elevated with texture and comforting matt glazes.

The chosen colours are seven soft Scandi neutrals in shades of blue and grey. Aged Bronze offers a metallic sheen that appears rich in history as it grasps at the folds on the surface of the tiles.

Six shapes create Shelter Island’s visual variety with four decorative motifs and two brick formats, one textured and one plain. Each colour brings out the distinct personality of each pattern so that countless design options present themselves throughout the collection.
